This role will be responsible for designing and implementing an AI-first technology strategy focused on simplifying processes and workflows across TDI Operations & Planning. You'll architect scalable, intelligent solutions that streamline portfolio, financial, workforce, and software management, reporting, and analytics—all while embedding AI-driven automation and decision-making into the fabric of our work.This role combines technical expertise in platform architecture and integration with strategic thinking, delivering outcomes through an AI-first mindset that prioritizes simplicity, automation, and intelligent insights.Key Responsibilities - TDI System of Work Strategy & Architecture
Define and drive the System of Work (SOW) technology strategy and standards across TDI Operations & Planning
Design and architect scalable, integrated solutions that simplify and streamline Portfolio, Financial, Workforce Software Delivery, Workforce Planning, and Finance workflows within TDI
Establish technology governance, best practices aligned with organizational standards
Anticipate future business needs and ensure platform architecture can adapt to evolving requirements across TDI teams
AI-First Process & Workflow Simplification
Champion an AI-first mindset in identifying opportunities to simplify complex processes and reduce manual work across TDI Operations & Planning
Implement AI-driven analytics and insights that surface actionable intelligence from TDI operational data
Build self-service, AI-enhanced capabilities that empower stakeholders to make faster, data-informed decisions with minimal friction
Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence
Design and implement reporting and analytics frameworks across Portfolio, Software, Workforce, and Finance domains within TDI
Build advanced dashboards and automated insights that provide real-time visibility into TDI program health, resource allocation, and operational performance
Establish data governance standards and ensure consistency across TDI's multi-system environment
Enable self-service analytics capabilities for TDI stakeholders while maintaining data integrity and security
AI Cost & Value Management
Build comprehensive dashboards and reporting to monitor AI tool spend, usage, and ROI across TDI initiatives
Implement cost optimization strategies to maximize business value from AI investments while controlling expenses
Partner with finance and business leaders on AI budgeting and cost-benefit analysis for TDI-focused AI projects
What You'll Bring to the Role - Experience & Education
12+ years of related experience in application development, solution architecture, or enterprise systems with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
Proven success in defining and executing technology strategies within operational or planning functions
Track record of leading initiatives that simplified complex processes or workflows across multiple teams
Experience managing multi-system environments and driving organizational efficiency improvements
Technical Expertise
Expert-level knowledge of Atlassian platform architecture (Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Goals, Automation, and APIs)
Experience with data integration, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools
Understanding of AI token consumption models, cost tracking, and emerging technology pricing structures
AI-First Thinking & Innovation
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities where AI can simplify processes, reduce manual work, or enhance decision-making
Experience evaluating, piloting, and scaling AI tools and LLM-based solutions in operational environments
Comfort experimenting with emerging AI technologies and translating technical capabilities into business value
Understanding of responsible AI practices, governance, and ethical considerations in AI deployment
Strategic & Business Acumen
Ability to translate business requirements and pain points into scalable, AI-enhanced technical solutions
Proven experience aligning technology strategy with organizational goals and operational priorities
Strong understanding of SaaS cost optimization, ROI analysis, and financial management
Capability to anticipate future needs and develop proactive, forward-thinking solutions
