We’re seeking a high-performing CEO Communications Manager to help amplify the voice and vision of our CEO and drive AI optimization across his communications channels. In this role, you will report to Okta’s Head of CEO Communications to support, streamline, and scale the CEO comms platform, spanning internal and external speaking events, media & influencer engagements, and social media. You will also work with the Corporate Communications team and partner with the broader executive bench, cross-functional partners, and our various agencies to develop bylines, blog posts, keynotes, talking points, and thought leadership content.

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of content, operations, strategy, and execution—all in support of a visionary founder leading a global tech company through transformation and growth. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly accountable, and capable of grasping both business strategy as well as the underlying technology, particularly in the context of identity security, AI, and enterprise software.

What you’ll be doing

Content development: Develop and refine bylines, scripts, talking points, social copy, and briefing materials for internal and external engagements that reflect the CEO’s vision and voice.

Agentic innovation: Continuously apply and explore how AI and agents can securely optimize and automate workflows and content development across the CEO’s communications platform.

Event planning & production support: Serve as point of contact for production logistics across company events, including tech run-throughs, AV coordination, studio operations, and real-time event support.

Stakeholder management: Manage inputs, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders, often coordinating between executives and production/design teams to ensure alignment across all CEO materials.

Operational excellence: Anticipate needs, respond quickly, and act as a strategic thought partner—particularly in high-stakes, fast-paced settings. A bias for optimization and innovation will be highly valued.

What you’ll bring to the role & what we’re looking for

5-7+ years of experience in corporate communications including direct experience with executive and/or CEO communications, ideally in a high-growth tech or SaaS company

Experience writing with and for CEOs, executives, leaders, and/or founders, with the ability to adapt to and maintain a distinct executive tone of voice

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail

Experience with and eagerness to apply AI to enhance and reimagine processes while improving content quality and speed

A passion for operational excellence and ability to thrive in a high-performance environment, taking initiative, owning outcomes, and operating with polish and discretion

Strong project management instincts—capable of juggling shifting priorities, tight timelines, and multiple stakeholders with calm and precision

Desire to be part of a mission-driven team that values trust, humility, rigor, and creative ambition

An understanding of Okta’s business and experience working with cloud companies

Social media experience and an analytical approach, with the ability to quickly identify trending topics and issues with a defined point of view

This role will be based in Okta’s San Francisco office and will be required to be in office

Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
